For any of the youngins out there, back before everything aimed at kids was computer generated, we got a wonderful and first of it’s kind CG cartoon called ReBoot. It followed the adventures of the interworkings of a computer turned into characters, all of which whom given tricky little names , and followed their day to day ‘life’ and attempt to survive in games. The show was very popular and ran for quite a bit of time, even getting a small revival and chance to run the previously unaired 4th season on Toonami back in 2001, only to end with an unfinished cliffhanger of an ending.

Why all the talk about ReBoot suddenly? Well, It’s because a website, simply called ReBoot.com has recently popped up and is now showing off a handy little countdown clock that will end on May 30th. What is the countdown counting towards? Ah! therein lies the curiosity and reason behind me posting about it.

Will it simply be the announcement that Universal is finally taking advantage of its right for releasing the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD, or Will the heavens explode in the thunderous roars of 1,000 trumpets while the Angels glide down and give us the gift of a new or continuation series of ReBoot? Well, I’ve dug around online everywhere and no one knows a thing. No one anywhere has any information other then the site is indeed referring to the cartoon and will be announcing something when the clock runs out.

Take it from me I will be sitting here in front of my computer screen when the last few seconds tick away to find out and I’ll definitely be making a post right after about what the revelation is.
